Meet Giselle, Founder & CEO

My journey into building Matera is deeply rooted in my own experience as a mother of three navigating the physical and emotional realities of breastfeeding: from latching challenges and mastitis to the relentless cycle of pumping every 2-3 hours.

Through that experience, I came to understand a truth that now sits at the heart of Matera: too many women are forced to structure their lives around the demands of breastfeeding, making freedom, flexibility, rest, and the moments and experiences they once loved feel increasingly out of reach.

Matera exists to help make nourishment feel more compatible with modern life — not in conflict with it. I am committed to helping create more thoughtful, accessible solutions that better support mothers through the emotional and logistical realities of postpartum life.
